  Art at Heartwood Thursdays

Art activities will serve as a tool to initiate engagement among all community members, build positive relations, foster the love for art, learn new skills and provide new experiences.
 

This art program was initiated and activities are presented by Sue Mirau, takes place every Thursday from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Heartwood Living Facility. These activities provide community members with opportunities to explore their artistic abilities, learn new skills, and foster meaningful relationships. By offering a variety of activities, TCE aims to create an inclusive environment that encourages engagement and connection among all participants. This activity provides an opportunity to incorporate additional targeted programs. By doing so, we can further enhance community engagement and offer a wider range of experiences for participants.

Art in the Park

C0-Hosted with the Hallett Library, "Arts in the Park" is a weekly activity that offers a different art project each session, along with a meal provided for participants. This event takes place at the library every Tuesday from 2 to 4 PM.
 

"Arts in the Park" is a fun and festive weekly gathering, fostering a sense of community through creative expression. Arts in Park is a very popular and well attended Typically, around 150 participants join each week, making it a vibrant and engaging experience. The program will run throughout June, July, and August, inviting families and individuals to come together and explore their artistic talents.

Creating opportunities for community members to engage in artistic activities fosters a culture of connection, collaboration, and support. By establishing a sustainable model for providing quality, free, and easily accessible arts and cultural experiences for all community members.
